Course Overview:

Ozone/ Oxygen gas has been used in dentistry and medicine around the world for over a century. Ozone dentistry treatments utilize medical grade oxygen that has been excited to accept an additional oxygen molecule creating O3 or ozone. Ozone is then applied to dental tissues which sterilizes the affected tissues and promotes the body’s ability to heal itself. Ozone allows for selective elimination of pathogens while supporting healthy cells and stimulating bone and wound healing. Due to positive outcomes and its high safety record, hundreds of professional dentists have embraced ozone / oxygen therapies and its utilization has jumped to the forefront of dental care, after taking this course. Join those dentists on the leading edge of dental medicine!

Course Objectives:

• Develop a working knowledge of ozone history and chemistry • Understand the scope of ozone safety • Recognize that ozone use in Dentistry fits a Minimally Invasive Dental Philosophy • Distinguish practical applications, techniques and protocols for ozone treatment
